Anami
Anami is a DJ and producer active on the Brno scene. In addition to club genres, her selection ranges from traditional music to ambient, and it is in this direction that her original work tends to go, which she will present in a rare live set at Punt. As far as one can guess from the only track Ra has released, one can expect a sacred/esoteric ambient/drone not entirely unlike the unnamed British post-industrial project, with solid psychedelic potential and entirely in the spirit of Eno's definition that ambient should offer not only a functional background but also an interesting listen.
The musician's interests will give more clues. Anami is studying sound design and multimedia technology, and the topic of her final thesis is imaginary soundscapes.
