Ondrej Zajac

Ondrej Zajac is an experimental musician from Slovakia. He has released his solo and collaborative music in the Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Mexico and composes music for films and gallery exhibitions.

The desire to brave new frontiers proves itself in the constant reinvention and denial of his past works. He makes his peculiar audience used to a radical approach, a stronghold in technical rigidity and unconventional extemporizing attitudes. His music has taken him around Europe and Japan with everything from showcase festivals to secret show in the botanical garden.

Recognised by the acclaimed media, he has also received multiple longlist nominations for the Slovakian Grammy Award, Radio_Head Awards, numerous mentions in the top records of the year charts and an award for the best up-and-coming musician at Alternativa Festival.
